I had the pleasure of going with Dad to see the 3rd Test between the Australian and United States of America Hockey teams (womens) at the April Ballinger Hockey Complex at Buderim this afternoon.
The level of athleticism and competition was pretty awesome. You can see why both teams are Olympics-bound. The Hockeyroos dominated the game, scoring 3 goals in the first half for a deserved 3 – 0 victory.

I had a good spot which gave me a chance to try out my new Canon EF-S 55 – 250 f/4 – 5.6 lens. It’s a cheapie but I was pretty happy with how it performed.
(I will conveniently ignore the fact that the USA won the first 2 games 1 – 0 and 2 – 1 and say GO HOCKEYROOS FOR LONDON!)

Great Photos and Thanks heaps for the support. I have put a link on my site rachaellynch.com.au
Thanks – and all the best for selection for London and in the future!
